I've got a 2021 TRD OR that I bought last June and had about 57k when I bought it, now up to 63k. I think most of the miles were highway.

I swapped the plugs and cleaned/oiled the K&N CAI last fall. I'm wanting to get the transmission fluids services but not sure exactly what I should be asking for.

-Transmission fluid, is it advised to get all 10.5 quarts replaced or just the 3-4 quarts you can drain from the back of the transmission? What kind of equipment is required to do a full drain? Is this something most shops should be able to do?

    -Front/Rear Diff - was planning on a full drain/replace.

-Transfer case - should I get this fluid changed?

    - Lube drive shaft zerks.

I've seen where some people swap out the allen hex key drive plugs with standard hex plugs, any input on this?

^That's the only kind there is.. :D Well, I suppose....

Transfer case oil probably still looks and is functioning as new, or very close to it.

Prop zirks may not exist at all on a 2021.

Transmission - take your pick, although I'd just start the drain and fills.

    86 the K&N filter.

If you are doing the diffs, it isn't that much more to do the transfer case. I would do them all at the same time, to keep the intervals the same. As for the transmission, have it flushed. Just doing what comes out of the pan, will do a little. It would be like putting an ice cube in a warm drink. It will help very little.

Some will tell you to do the trans drain and fill several times over a few week period to help change most of the fluid. I look at it this way. You pay with your time or your money. And getting it flushed insures you get 95% new fluid( you can't get 100% exchange) done at one shot. And you aren't crawling under here multiple times to try and accomplish the same thing.

The K&N is an ok filter. Just don't want to over oil it. The TRD intake kit comes with a panel K&N filter, only with yellow oil on it not the red. So I wouldn't be too worried about that.
