I like to help people who need helped and I would rather volunteer my help than to be asked.
I have also never taken any help from anyone except my wife. I have had to borrow a few tools in the past and make sure to return them cleaner or better than I got them.

 

So sorry man. I lost my dog Bailey last year at 17 yo. We have gotten a new dog. It is not Bailey, but it is the happiest damn dog on the planet. Bailey was kinda like me. Grumpy to slightly happy most of the time. This new dog is absolutely ecstatic to see you, even though you just went to pee and come back.

 

I hate borrowing something, that's one reason I have so much stuff. If I have to borrow something more than once, I need to get my own is the way I look at it.

 

Sorry to hear that Blevin, our lil guy passed 6 months ago now and it took us 3 months before we could toss his medicines.

That's funny you phrase it like that Creed, some people roll through life trying to borrow everything.

Your situation with your FIL reminds me of one recently with my in laws. It was 630pm one day last week, I had to be up at 2am for work, not to mention I've got 2 kids under 3, I saw my inlaws at my nephew's ball game. They asked if I could help move a fridge into a rental for one of my FIL's clients that night. I don't see a fridge or a trailer. The short notice stuff is over, my family depends on me to keep things squared away at home.

Free sprayer is ready to spray (although I don't have anything that needs spraying at the moment ).

I've been storing these hand pendants for a decade or so, just waiting for the perfect application. Well, almost perfect. I had to swap out the momentary switch for a rocker, and found a lighted one so I'll know when the sprayer is energized. I had to use a relay due to the tiny wires in the coil cord, but it will easily reach for use with the tractor or zero turn, and keeps things tidy.

When i lived in idaho, i had neighbors maybe 3/4 mile away as crow flies. They heard i was buying a snowplow from from friends who just moved off the hill into town.

They say to me at a church gathering, "we will pay half and you can park it at our place"

im thinking to myself why would anyone do that? Me having to get out of my driveway and over to theirs every time it snowed?? I need the snowplow to barely get out of my driveway...

Any ways i was prob a little rude but coulda been more rude. I basically said no, i dont think thats a good idea.

How could anyone even have the nerve to ask that?

People are scammy when they dont have to do the work...

I'm on a fire extinguisher safety check. All of mine are 6 years old and have dropped off the last 2 to be checked and recharged. Checked moms out and bought a her a new one. Stump is still smoking and moving along will update that in the morning.
