I still have the P0420 for the cat not filtering out enough, but that is all. I think I will be able to get by with just resetting the CEL before I take it in to my place, otherwise I still have the old 2 cat system that I can weld up a test pipe to get through :fingers crossed.


I haven't had anything related to evap system thankfully.

I know I've seen people add a resistor to the wire to cap the signal

 

How is your vacuum hose that use to run to the silencer box set up? If I remember correctly you just had it venting to atmosphere

 

Uhh, you want that one going to the intake manifold post throttle body

 

I have mine going into the port that the passenger side PCV originally used (with a check valve)

I think that check valve is preventing the pressure from releasing so the system thinks it's clogged

 

I'm currently rocking the P0420, P0446, P0452, and P0453 codes

Yea I have thought about that, but here in Utah where I am they have to actually take a picture now of the cat... so didn't know if that would get caught in the picture and spark additional questioning haha

 

I got the process saves somewhere here too where you solder in a capacitor and resistor to the downstream. Essentially make it a constant wave that the ecu is expecting and not throw code

I haven't done much to the truck lately except gas it up and drive.


One small update after putting a different memory card in the Master Tailgater rear view mirror camera system about 2 weeks ago I haven't had any issues with it. I guess it just doesn't like memory cards larger than 32gb

Now if they would update some translation errors within the system it might be worth the sticker price.

 

Maybe they want you to buy more memory cards? Lol. Who knows.

 

Jokes on them because the card I'm using is older than the camera system. The newer fancy cards don't work
