Power steering leaking

My power steering is leaking and making noise when I turn left to right is anyone knows what’s the procedure for replacing it or part number thx

Do you mean that the rack itself is leaking? (I can't imagine another part that would only leak "left to right" since the only other component is the pump, and it has no idea what direction you're going. Yeah leaking from where, under the vane pump itself? This truck?

Have a look at the union bolt for the main pressure line. It must be torqued to the right spec or it will leak. If you've changed it out, use new washers. In my '03 the FSM says 35 ft/lbs. yours is likely the same. It's really difficult to get under there for proper torque but it can be done.

As for the noise, the "power steering groan?" This usually means there's air in the system somewhere or the pump is going south.

 

Christian 3.4 L V6 20 02 power steering leak so I just have to top it off. Not sure where it is leaking. I really appreciate the input

 

Man I really appreciate sorry for the late response. I’m not sure man I’ve been keep top it off. It’s my daily Drive car what exactly oh the picture would be amazing that needs to be torqued in

 

Been keep topping off the power steering fluid and it’s definitely leaking somewhere but I really appreciate that all the input I’m still kinda investigating I haven’t got anything yet

 

Step one is to look. :-D Not being a smart ass, gravity rules so whatever is dripping is dripping down. throw down your creeper (or blanket) and look under the front with rag and flashlight in hand. You should be able to see enough without taking off the skid plate, if it's still hard to tell clean it off with the rag and check it again after running it a while (and letting everything cool off a little.)
