Got my glorified phone holders installed today. Not sure which mount to use, magnetic or mechanical. Trying them both since I have never used one in the past. Figured the pocket worked good but have plans for the future so went for it. Also didn’t know which side of the wheel to put it on, figuring that out as well.

Tacoma's are good for that role. FYI, you can go up to 1/2 pallet (25 bags) of mulch if you ever need to in the future.

 

Technically last week not today but I put an inexpensive Android based head unit in, DS18 dash speakers, and Kicker door speakers. Dash speakers made the biggest difference in sound. The head unit is OK, I've got a bit of experience with them in 3 other cars so I know not to expect perfection but I'm able to live with whatever "problems" this one has in order to have the 10" screen for under $200.

 

I usually do 15, 20 at the most.

Did you get to retain all your steering wheel buttons and Android auto with this?

 

Volume is working perfect. Up and down buttins not working but they're sending a new CANBUS box that's supposed to fix it. Android Auto working too but Waze isn't automatically switching between day and night mode like it does on the more expensive Xtrons Android radio in my daily driver. Not sure if other apps are doing the switch, I'll have to check.
