Same with my Urologist I'm seeing at my local VA , they want me to stay hydrated no matter if I'm outside in cold winter temps or muggy summer temps . They want me to drink a minimum of 96oz of water per day . Also mentioned to drink pedialyte as this will help flush my kidneys

Thinner blood. Thicker blood makes the heart work harder and can clot more. Caffeine increases the heart rate.

Sorry its not working for you. They knock you out and if I remember right its one overnight at the hospital. You will be restricted on lifting and activities for a few days as they usually go in thru the groin and you don't want that site to reopen and bleed. I don't remember having any chest pain afterwards but some of the patients I work with do have mild pain for a week. Sure beats dropping to the floor and feeling like you're going to pass out or like my 3rd time (precipitating surgery) I went into afib while driving home from work. Thankfully I was still on a side street and could slowly drive myself back to the ER. Pulled up in front of the ER and the security guard said you can't park there. Told him I was having a heart attack. That changed his demeanor in a hurry!! Even parked my car for me!

Haven't heard of that one. My wife can't stand Stevia. Doesn't bug me. I usually get the Liquid IV from Costco for when we are out skiing or longer motorcycle rides. They make different flavors and one is "supposed" to give you more energy. Tried it but don't like the flavor and probably shouldn't be taking anything that will excite the heart! Otherwise our well water is fantastic ;and has tested clean twice.
My addiction is diet pop. I know its horrible for me. I quit cold turkey 2 weeks ago though and so far so good. But every time I walk thru a checkout line...whoo boy... Reminds me of when I got sober!

I love Alice Cooper. Seen him a couple times in Sacramento years ago. I've eaten in his now defunct "Alice Coopers'town" Sports Bar in Phoenix. AZ in about 2010-2011 time frame.

A little of this and a little of that.
    Good evening everyone,

So, question for you all, what is the dividing line between afternoon and evening?
I have always been of the mindset that afternoon was 12 noon to 6 pm. After 6 pm was evening time.
I’m sure a smarter person would set up a poll so that the information could be plotted.

Did you actually have a heart attack? or just the afib being extra nasty? Was that right before your ablation? Did you just go in and out at various times? Mine have only started when I've been asleep (and used to go away with a dose of cardezim in the ER - until the one last March, when it didn't work). A paramedic I know said his would come and go at various times, no medication needed.

The last few episodes haven't been too bad, but a few have had me real short of breath and heart thumping real bad. Never any pain.

My cardiologist recommended Ultima - multiple different flavors. Good luck on giving up your diet pop. I gave it up long before my afib diagnosis. Only soda I drink is Mountain Dew on road trips when I need caffeine to keep me awake.

 evening gang. Hope everyone had a marvelous day (even Weesa after her funeral :()
