You can't put them into public waters.
And the guy with the pond, didn't want goldfish in the pond. (The one I got the bass out of)
And you CAN NOT, and should NEVER put any fish into public waters.

I wasn't keeping them in the bathtub.
    So.......They died........

I got a bill for $65 today from my propane company, couldn't believe what l was reading as was being billed for not using enough propane this past year. Was keeping the thermostat at a lower temperature to try to save a few bucks, could have just left it up if l had known.

    WTF?

Only time I've ever been charged more, was when I went on even pay plan.
They calculate your last years usage, then bill you 12 even payments.
Sometimes you get a credit at the end of the year. Other times, you have to pay the balance if you used more.

I've never heard of getting charged for not using enough fuel. Maybe you should install a gas stove, so you use more?!?!

Guess the new furnace is more efficient than the old one, it definitely heats the house faster.

My truck currently burns oil at a rate of about 1 quart every 4,000 miles; I discovered back in January, after running 0W20 high mileage formula for a little over a year, that my truck was almost two quarts low about 4,000 miles after the previous oil change. I mentioned to my mechanic that the oil pressure light would flicker when I first started the truck, especially when it was cold. He recommended that I check the oil even more often than usual and switch to 5W30; I did just that and I am now burning a quart every 4,000 miles. Needless to say, I am a bit worried about the health of my oil pump. Now that it is warming up, my truck doesn't do the "blinking oil light" thing as prominently, and it is worth noting that my truck does not do this after each subsequent startup throughout the day. It only does this first thing in the morning.

There's another guy who gets his 2009 or 2010 Tacoma service at my mechanic. The truck is a 2.7L/5-speed 4x4, he's owned it since new, and the last I heard it had like 265K miles. The oil consumption is getting progressively worse, but there is nothing else wrong with the truck and he is planning to have the engine replaced before 300K.

Should I be worried about the blinking oil light?

I used 10W30 before the head gasket blew and my gas mileage really sucked; I am switching to Liquimolly at 200K...

Has your mechanics tested the oil pressure with a gauge?

Not recently, but the truck has been performing just fine. No warning lights, no overheating, no weird noises...

A oil pressure test on cold startup might be a good idea. He could try to recreate the circumstances when you see the flickering happen. Maybe leave it at the shop overnight with a pressure gauge installed and see what it shows first thing in the morning

Pete is the owner of the shop, and the guy who primarily works on my truck is a former Toyota tech named Joe, who works for Pete; Joe did not seem worried when I described the symptoms to him back in January, and I cannot afford to be without my truck unless there is something seriously wrong with it. How involved is it to replace an oil pump on a 2TR-FE?

So, you don't think it's something I should worry about?
