My first gold. I got it for $15 over MSRP so it didn’t sting much.

$131 after taxes. I’ve seen it all over the map with pricing.

Tonight’s head to head comparison. Old Forester 1920…a little harsh up front and on the back. Mid palate, good Kentucky bourbon, old skool. Heaven Hill BiB, amazing. Smooth up front, a bit of burn on the back end , Kentucky bourbon that I will go back to, and a good bargain for what you get. EHTaylor small batch BiB, hands down winner. It does have the Buffalo Trace signature grape note, but I have grown to love it. Smoother all around, with a bit of burn on the back end. I know this is the low end EHT, but man, I keep going back to it again and again .

I’ve really enjoyed this BEP bottle. I’ve been able to pick up a few over the last year.

Take a look at high camp flasks. I have the "Torch" which is perfect for just me, 3 drinks and a small cup for drinking neat. Quality is fantastic.

They have some 375 and 750ml options too if you're looking to have enough for a weekend, or want to premake some old fashioneds

If you want variety look at the aged and ore travel flight. 4 2oz bottles that are plenty durable. They claim to be tsa compliant but I haven't been brave enough to try to carry it on yet

I personally like the standard back pocket flask, fill it up and sit by the campfire with it.

The Stanley metal flask is nice but I normally just bring a couple bottles and a few nicer 2oz samples
