Transfer Case Oil Change ?

I've been changing the Diff and Transmission every 30K - I've also been changing the Transfer at the same time - I have 4 WD Manual - Wondering since I obviously use the Diff and the Transmission all the time and the 4 WD just once in awhile do you think I should continue to change the Transfer Case oil every time I do the Diff and Transmission ? Thanks for any reply/links/information.

 

I'd do it since you're already under the truck.

I think it's worth it. As you're already under there with all the tools and the fluids at hand, I'd treat them all to fresh fluid. Use the correct spec fluids in your diffs, transfer case and especially the manual transmission (GL4) and they'll last a very long time with a 30k maintenance interval. It's especially money well-spent for the transfer case: it's a critical piece out in the wild and they are very expensive to purchase and/or replace.
