Sitting at the dealership for toyotacare on the rav4. They have several new Tacomas and I really don't like the design.

 

I've heard this from a few about the new design. Can you say what differs from the 3rd generation?

Did a Google search and found this video. The first thing I noticed was the design on the front. I don't like the way the fog lights look.

I love mine so far, but I understand the skepticism.

 

I watched part of the video I attached. There did seem to be improvements to the interior and technology. I was just commenting on the outside appearance, maybe because it's a departure from what has been for awhile?

 

One of the guys here at work said he walked around my truck and called it a mini Tundra. He instantly knew it was my truck without asking

 

Just spent the last 4hrs in class for pesticide license. Now I can enjoy the rest of the day. My allergies are killing me today. Throat feels like it's closing face feels itchy as all hell. Only thing I hate about this time of year

 

I feel like the body lines make it look alot like the Colorado. The front end looks better than the 3rd gen tho. But I'll stick to my 2.5gen.

 

This statement doesn't mean just for tacomas. I hate all the new tech in new cars. Drove my mother's car last week. The electronic steering wheel pulls if you go over the white line god forbid you have to go around another car. Car came to a complete stop because it thought I came to close to a brush pile on the side of the road which scared the shit out of me.damn car locked all 4 tires up. Like wtf was that for. Mind you I was a good 5 ft from said brush pile. Nope no thank you.

 

I turned that shit off the first day. Went through construction and it freaked out over the road lines

 

Turned all of that shit off on my 2019 Rav4 Adventure AWD. It must use older satelite views or something because they changed the lines on the roads around my house for added bike lanes. The next day I went out when the gizmos were still on and the damn car kept steering me over into the other lane and or the bike lanes. I turned that shit off right away.

 

you and I are kindred spirits. I loved when cars used to simply “car”.

 

Gorgeous day in south York county! Got in a mow, though grass was a tiny bit wet. Did some limb work with the hedge trimmers, set out bird seed, sipped a Radler on the porch when I finished.

 

So when the coming to dig up your yard for that drain field work?
