Im with you on that. Not that I have the 255/85/16s on but when I did they weigh 55 for the tire then about 25lb for the wheel. Gotta be careful not to throw my back out when rotating them myself. I do like being the one to torque the lug nuts though.

One thing I'm finding as I get older, this is a young man's activity.

I need to get back to the gym and do my 30 minute cardio on Elliptical...I can get my heart rate up to 140+.

There is still time for me to save for wheels/tires and of course the Diamondback Tonneau cover--but that's really not a priority at the moment.

Anyhow, for now I'm content with how my truck is set up.

I'm gonna show off my yard and have my Sporty Spice in the forefront...lol!

Magnolia in the backyard & Peach Blossom up front.

I love the Peach Blossom tree in our yard.

I recently pulled all the weeds in the rocky area by the mailbox.

It's taken about 3 seasons to get my grass the way it looks now...I'm happy!

I'm really enjoying listening to "Chill" on SiriusXM when I'm in my truck.

    Agreed Ed.
We lucked out on timing too. Our 14 year old 2003 Nissan Pathfinder was done. Our Tacoma was full MSRP @1.9% for 72 months.
We could have paid it outright but we invested the small amount of our savings instead at 4.5%.
We are not rich and the cash flow with 2 school age kids sucked at first but inflation worked in our favor. Plus, my wife just moved from part time to full time.
Like you, I'm 58 very soon. But we had our kids late and far apart.
Anyhow, Just over 2 more years and she is paid in full.
New vehicle prices are even more frightening now!

Ahhhh.... here we are happily out Huckleberry picking with White Knight last summer. The tight short term cash flow was worth every slim penny for all the joy we get from this truck.

    Welp,

I had a great birthday yesterday...my first visit to the beach this summer season was fantastic!

I'm going to dinner this evening with my wife and another couple we are super close to in friendship.

    Enjoy your evening you all!

Lol... I guess I'm 4 days older than you. Hope you had a great day!:cheers::cheers::cheers:

Mine consisted of my favorite fish & chips and B-Day cake.

Unfortunately, I'm looking even more like an cranky old Scotsman now. 2 skin cancers just recently removed too! (upper wrist and back of neck) Thanks to my pasty white, northern European skin.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

    Good morning Eric.

All went well. I didn't need the CARB cert since my tune is up to date.

    Welp,

I just noticed I went over 30K miles when I tanked up today!

    Gas (87 octane) was $3.19/gallon.
