    You never know what is on the opposite side of your fence. My yard had water flowing into it from the neighbors side of the fence. Kids and I walk around the block and knock on the door. They were real nice and said oh no we'll go check. They came back and said our damn 60 pound tortoise busted an irrigation pipe and they'll have to dig it up and fix it.
