Just left the shop. Maybe tomorrow. Over 3” of spread removed between hangers. The gain in travel was also eye opening. Absolutely no more improper shackle angle. Cycles like butter. next step is relocating the shock. Can’t even begin to describe how big of a change this is going to be.

Did you bench bleed the master? If not that’s likely the issue.

No but I didn’t last time and never had an issue. I’ll bench bleed this one.

Bench bleeding is huge. If a master airlocks you can pump all day long and never get more than a tinkle from the bleeders.

We would pull masters off of vehicles that blew a brake line and lost all fluid just to eliminate the headache of an air locked system.

Front mount was also moved rearward. Both played a pretty big part in all honesty.

If one went to a 16” shock and gave zero shits about shackle angle/clean travel/shortened their driveshaft I fully believe it would cycle 20” like this. Depending on what I can do with my shocks I’ll likely be strapping around 17-17.5.

So I read all of these posts and was doing my best to follow, but I’m still lost.

Simply put, what was wrong with your kit? What did you do to fix it?

So, I lost an inch of wheel base with the kit. But the biggest issue was, I was seeing so much wrap that my shocks would bottom as soon as my axle touched the bumps. And when it was originally installed I had about an inch of shock shaft left at full bump.

The deeper I started digging, I found that my springs were at full length before even touching my bumps. This was due to the spread of the front hanger and shackle hanger.

I moved my rear hanger forward around 2” and my front hanger rearward around an inch.

Not only did I gain travel, but the leafs are no longer fully stretched until about full bump. This was causing the leafs to wrap up. The shackles no longer come forward at droop either. I assume I will lose some ride height. But if that’s an issue I’ll just talk to deaver about re arching. All in all it’s just going to work better.

So your springs are mounted in different locations left to right? Or you moved both sides

For some reason I had it in my head you were only having a wheel base issue on one side

So the SOS performance MC is not a sequoia MC. Way different.

Pivot to pivot plus shackle length needs to be longer than total spring length or the spring will bind when fully compressed.

Idk, but I followed @Happysmiley advice and I can tell you right now it cycles night and day better.
