Good evening 4g folks. Looking to pick up a trail hunter soon but I like the look of the TRD pro and TRD Sport hoods rather than the plain hood. Was wondering if someone would show me the underside of the hood out of my own curiosity. Is it like previous models where they have no openings and/or hood mat or what’s the design underneath?

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
The 2021 Sport has a wide opening with the scoop removed.

It's ugly, I didn't come up with a alternative, so I put the scoop back on. I don't enjoy the extra bulge when cresting hills however.

Drive the new one with the scoop, is horrible. I’ve had two sport third gen and the new one is obnoxiously large

part of why I bought the or, I had the opportunity to buy a beautiful windchill pearl one but couldn’t get past it

I had a 3rd gen sport and now a 4th gen sport. I think the newer model is less intrusive than the 3rd gen. No problems with it imho.

Do you get any hood flutter on the highway. And Mine seems to move a bit when hitting rough roads around town.

Yep! Aluminum is lighter than steel!
