You are on the right path, if not the best. most people do the opposites, they try to loose weight with exercise , come up with some injuries and give up down the road . Don't rush loosing weight, 190lbs could be that you've gain heavy bones over the years , if you push and loose bone mass , you'll have to deal with bone fractions when you get older. I've lost 65lbs slowly over the a few years just by diet and daily activates, such as walking, working , working and riding my motorcycle , also working for hours on my back yard garden.

I am treating my eating based on how I lost body fat for competition. No sugar no dairy and no bread. Then do carb manipulation which is day 1 150 grams day 2 100 grams day three 50 grams then start over . Keeps the body guessing and forces your body to burn fat. I am not concerned about my weight only my body fat % . I think 10-12% is doable and sustainable for my age.

It's all good , English is not my native language. I speak 3 languages with some grammar's issues. I'd rather have spelling mistakes , than be a jerk.

@nd4spdbh I have a question about the Super Tenere. How bad/good is the clutch? I already know that I'm spoiled with the slipper clutch on my little Honda. I can pull that thing with one finger and hold it forever. What's the hydraulic clutch on the ST like? Only other bike I've really worked the clutch on was the cable clutch on the VTX1300 years back.

I barely graduated Highschool so spelling isn’t my strong suit. Thank goodness for spell check which has really made me a better speller.

German, Persian. Persian is my native language. My German speaking is rusted, but I'll pickup fast when I stat talking to German speakers. English
I agree, but I didn't understand the part about mother vag.? I've been in U.S for over 40 years. There is no perfect English language, except Shakespeare , and that's philosophy not language. Most New Yorkers say they speak perfect English , and all the other English speakers speaking in dialog. English is an adopted language , same as all the other languages. Sorry for long lecture !. I just was trying to explain myself.

Yeah, the humor of my post is definitely rooted in modern American humor so it could easily be both offensive or not understood to either Persian or German culture. Learning a second language is difficult enough, but then when you have to account for the cultural differences in things as well. I'd love to visit Japan some day, but even if I learned the language there are certain cultural things that would be rude or offensive in American culture (like poking somebody and saying "you're a bit fat"), but isn't in Japanese culture.

As the non-native speaker/visitor I would have to manage my offense because it's unreasonable to expect the language/culture to adapt to an outside culture's views. Like here in the USA, being a "jerk" isn't a travesty and we just kind of roll with the punches about stuff. The barbs we hit each other with could easily be super offensive to another culture, but if the meeting/convo is in the language/location then the "rules" from that place/language take precedence.

Valve check isn't too bad on the super ten, just a bit cumbersome due to lack of space with the perimeter frame that's close to the motor. There is no need to take the entire case side cover off to view the crank position mark (as stated in the manual), you can view it from the inspection port on the right side with a flashlight.

I did the valve check on my bike when I got it with 21k miles as I was already 95% of the way there to replace all 4 sparkplugs (for a twin cylinder haha) and nothing needed to be adjusted. Everything was perfectly in the middle of spec.

It's definitely not a one finger clutch. While the clutch is smooth due to it being hydraulic, it is pretty stiff, clutch spring has to clamp strong enough to hold the 1200ccs of torque. When I come to a stop I actually sometimes use all 4 fingers to pull it all the way in to the bars to find neutral easier, but 2 fingers like normal 95% of the other times. I got used to the clutch pretty quick and dont have any real complaints with it. But a super easy hardly any resistance clutch it is not (but tbh I don't like clutches like that cus i find it too hard to feel where you are at in the bite point without resistance)

The lack of perfection comes from the ability to adapt/evolve a language. The closest you'll see to a perfect language would be something with a pictographic alphabet like Japanese (I know I sound like a weeb with two posts about Japan. Sue me.) because they are very precise. The trouble is that over hundreds/thousands of years as the world advances these languages lack the characters to describe the new things of the world. They are "perfect" but will eventually be extinct because they cannot adapt.

No worries at all. English is messy, and American culture is pretty rough and tumble so we seem very rude to lots of the world, but we usually don't mean any offense.

I could be wrong, but I see that the all the cultures are moving very fast toward the ideology of "Nothing is Sacred" , and America is way ahead of this road, and in some example like today it takes time for folks with ("old Bios" like me) to digest.

Even if you rewind a couple decades, American culture didn't have the separation of casual and formal language like lots of places. Being blunt is one of the things that having freedom of speech allows, and our culture evolved down that road. When you can't be imprisoned and assaulted just for saying stuff, it makes it so lots of stuff can be freely said. Makes for people being less sensitive, so American's tend to have a more gruff or abrasive way with language.
