Gone camping with the gf and kids a few times now. The challenge evolves as they get older...

I got my first camp trip Friday night - though not in the dirt; parking lot love at the start of a race.

Also kicked that that races arse - not enough to keep up with the first 3 ladies - but a solid 4th and MASSIVE PR in my 50K time. (probably because it's also only 3400' of vert)

Not sure exactly how to ask this question, but does the steering wheel on your guys trucks quickly return to straight while driving?
As in, when you make a 90d right turn, after you turn the wheel right, make the turn, and then let go does it return to straight on its own, or do you have to steer it back straight?
My daily returns straight so fast I just control the return, but the truck I have to manually turn the wheel to the left to get back straight.
its always been like this and I haven’t ever really given it much thought until now… is that something I need to look into?

EDIT: Found the right way to phrase it in the search and am now finding quite a few threads about this issue.. don’t mind me

when's the last time you got an alignment? if your caster is in spec it should return to center automatically.

Gfs neighborhood is decent, but I’m worried might be becoming a battlefield for a drug/gang war. 2 cars out in the intersection, after midnight, shooting for less than ten seconds, over 100 casings found on the ground. Can’t wait to get out of here.

Yikes! My old house had a few shootings on the same block but luckily the lead never reached my house. Looks like you've got some work to do to find where some of those holes end....

Yeah. This was right in the intersection next to the house. Houses across the street caught some. Fucking assholes don’t give a shit about other people

Truck is so far good. Nothing new leaking, starts and runs fine. Found five holes, plus both front tires :(

I'd be worried if one of the clipped a wire loom. I'd be pulling the fender and trying to find where everything ended.

Do they at least have an idea who did the shooting? I was woken up one night hearing gun shots, all they found were casings and never figured out who did it. At least the kid who was murdered on Xmas (service member home for the holiday) they found that guy pretty quick. That one was all of 500yd from my house... I live in a city now that has a lot more gang activity so far it's been quiet where I am at.

I think step one is to get it home and in the shop, then I would definitely feel better going through it like that. Those 2 on the fender, and the one in the grill worry me the most.

I’m not sure, couldn’t get a read on them last night. They gave me a contact card with a case number on it though, might follow up in a week or so.

A lot of hugs were given last night. It’s a mindfuck to be that close and wake up to that.

On the other hand, I am tempted to make a thread asking what rounds e-load sidewalls will resist.
