I watched that too, came to the same conclusion.

 

Wayne's World, Prime

 

Just watched Rebel Moon Part 2. I wasn't a big fan of the Part 1 series, just too derivative in plot devices, but I stuck with it and it finished somewhat on a high note. Not awful, but forgettable. The Part 2 movie on the other hand, now this is something else. What a ride. Yeah, it's not ground breaking (its just a rehash of 7 Samurai/Magnificent 7), but if your up for a good example of a well made shoot em up spectacle, oh boy, this is a treat. Makes the muddling through the Part 1 series worthwhile.

 

While I'm at it:

Ripley on Netflix was decent. Slow in parts, characters a bit nonrational at times, definitely a ode to the old world beauty of Italy. As a period piece, is where it excels, IMHO. Good series to watch while smoking my pipe in solitude.

Anthracite is a pretty good French series. If you like the Black Spot or Les Revenants, you'll probably like this. Takes place in the Rhone Alps region of France, which I have been to and recognized some of the backdrops. Loosely base on the mass suicides of the Order of the Solar Temple. If you want to read some weird history, look into the various Templar cults of southest France and Switzerland.

I tried to watch Rebel Moon Part 2. Just couldn't take more than 10 minutes. It's pretty bad. IMHO. I made it through part 1. This seems worse.

On the Waterfront. Plex. Good acting but story, and movie, was boring for an 8-academy award winner.

The Shawshank Redemption. AMC. A Rewatch. When you’re this good, you don't get an Oscar.

We watched that a couple years ago. I should of probably more quickly thought of it.....RUST......I was doing a voice search and I never knew there was a kid's show called "Rust Rivet" hahahahahahaha

Still working on the x-files. Found it is no longer free through freevee/prime. Luckily Hulu has it. So my disappointment of not being able to continue it was short lived. And season 5 can continue.

We are watching an episode or 2 a day of Monk right now. I liked House better but it’s good.

 

The best part of House was Thirteen.
