Update on the sit-down.. boss man ain't going to do anything, he's leaving in a month. Told me who his probable replacement will be and I'm not really excited about who.

I guess it's time to consider other options. In the meantime I'll do what I can to stick it out in hopes that things work out

Is your boss leaving for similar reasons? If so, I'd take that as a sign of larger problems in the company and start looking.

He claims it's cause another opportunity came up, but I strongly suspect it's same reasons. I'll stick it out as long as I can because anywhere in my town I'd go would be less pay. We could get by on less, but obviously don't want to. I am looking at job sites on my lunches starting today though

Locks will keep a fairly honest man fairly honest and a lazy thief away.

There is no passive way to keep a determined thief with a collection of cordless tools out, the best you can do is make it difficult for him.

You could put the strobe light inside.

:gossip: Perhaps with a shotgun shell flash-bang or two...
That would be incredibly loud in a shipping container, might not stop anything but would be a bit satisfying.

Nothing. Neither does my Title Insurance.
Nothing was disclosed during the negotiation and closing on the property 22 years ago.

I’m adding to my arguement any easement was extinguished through our adverse possession or his abandonment or through no need for any easement in the first place.

Also, he has a V shaped lot with over 150’ of frontage from another road to that part of his property.

Have you tried floating? If that doesn't work, have you tried those spikey aerating shoes that they use when pouring epoxy flooring?

You paid for both the deed search and Title Insurance when you closed.
Sounds like the neighbor shouldn't have a leg to stand on. I hope.

Installed some Gorilla lifts. These things are a game changer! 2 guys made the lowering or lifting this gate tolerable. It was a back breaker by yourself!

2 fingers is all it needs now.

    Yes sir we did.

To date, the Title Insurance states we have not incurred any damages so therefore they won’t get invovled

I agree with @RustyGreen if nothing shows up and nothing was disclosed then sounds like he has a gentlemans agreement. Which I would believe has no legal standing. He just wants to be a:censored:.

I would add another cellular game camera or two that email you pics as they are taken. Set up with each camera coverage covering the others with solar power to keep them working. I like the cheap camera decoy idea. But as was said before you can only keep honest people honest. The best you can do is to make it hard by locking things up and get evidence (pictures) that will let the cops catch the thief. The Whistling Diesel YT channel had a video on how he caught a guy who stole a bunch of stuff from his property using overlapping cell cameras. I would also have a good insurance policy to cover any losses of big-ticket items.
