I would make the job search a priority vs trying to stick it out. Don't jump ship until you have something else, but any more time spent at your current company is seniority you are not building at your next employer.

It's a drastic measure, but have you considered calling the police on him for trespassing? Let him prove to them he has a valid easement.

It’s all been talk and letters. He hasn’t come onto my property without permission that I know of.

In any case, the town police would take his side, we’re still considered flatlanders.

I’ve got my entire deed chain going back to the 1890s when the property was sold to the guy who built the house. I also have a select few of my neighbors. I didn’t see a need to get them all after seeing the 1905 and his current deed having the same paragraph deeding off the ROW.

Edit: this has been going on for over 2.5 years. I have automatic emails with the Registry should mine or the neighbors name be filed there. That how I found out after him being married to his current, second wife since way before we moved up here, replaced his first wife on his deed last year. Stand up guy…

Tip for everyone- find out if your Registry of Deeds has this email feature. Cost nothing and it’s one more way to protect your property.

I can give you some completely pointless trivia I learned today from my 1,001 albums journey.

Coldcut - Stop This Crazy Thing has a song in the background that I couldn't place.

I knew it sounded familiar but I couldn't for the life of me place the background music. Thank goodness for whosampled.com.

Spoilered in case you want to try guessing and show me up.

Turns out Coldcut sampled Super Grit by Trouble Funk who sampled/interpolated Grieg's In the Hall of the Mountain King. Kills me that I couldn't make it out because it sounds so obvious now.

Personally, I think moats should come back into style, but since that's probably impractical how bout something more exciting? My brother-in-law had this small device that would randomize the sounds of a mountain lion to keep dear and other creatures out of his garden. Not sure if you had any of those down that far south, but up here, you hear a mountain lion, you don't stick around.

I thought about this quite awhile this afternoon. If you're going to keep keys + batteries on site, they have to be behind another lock in the shipping container. If the shipping container is only wide enough to load one vehicle at at a time, maybe take two wheels off of the one closer to the door. As others have said, if somebody wants to steal it they probably will. Just have to try and make it to where they can't do it in less than 20 mins at least...

The whole purpose of asking about the mods you might have, was just to hear you say “stayin’ stock”
Set all kidding aside, I understand some people like smaller tire size for whatever reason; but I like the enhancements that bigger size of tires can provide to the truck. :fistbump:

I plan to get a double door (one at each end) to make it easier on us getting stuff in and out. I will put hidden kill switches on the SXS and tractor and chain/cable them inside the container. One set of doors will be locked from the inside as well. If I leave a set of keys they would be hidden well. The container will be sitting about 30 feet from the old homeplace that's pretty much falling down, I thought about a PIR motion sensor with a light and maybe radio set up in the old house.

If it wasn't for health insurance I think we would just go ahead and move.

On a side note...I think we might need a bridge cause crossing the first creek after a very hard rain ain't gonna happen in my Tacoma.

Thank Ya'll for all the ideas.

The Brian Setzer orchestra adapted this into “One More Night With You”. It’s got a retrovibe like most of his stuff.

    Quick question on your opinions?

We live in the city not big city crap but I’m a block from main st.
    IMG_0098.jpg
    my backyard.
Over the winter with the wind and snow a bunch of trees in the space behind us came down. The land owners have pretty much said not their problem?
We had this in our yard it was my next door neighbor who 100% took care of it.
    It was his tree!
    IMG_0279.jpg
    IMG_0293.jpg
But the trees that fell in his yard and the neighbors on the other side land owners did nothing.
I get the whole act of god thing so yes if a healthy tree causes damage I can’t get damages but at least get your property off my property?
I felt bad for my neighbor and gave him some cash towards what he’s been cleaning up.
    Good neighbors are a blessing!

Would you at least remove the tree?
    I would!
