Dogs adapt well. Venice was bonded with Milo and had the new pup for a year before we moved on our own. Went from always having buddies to a lot of alone time but she has adjusted well and always super happy when I walk through the door.

Helped my neighbor bring a trailer home

Learned about a stupid plastic dowel pin that's prone to breaking so...I'll have to make one up out of steel rod and toss it into my shifter mechanism

It only affects staying in 4 (outside of OD) or L wo really nothing I need to remedy anytime soon

Just happened to be on its last leg when I decided to run it and stay out of OD that the pin broke or fell out

On another note, just like the LC that trailer felt weightless behind the GX

 

The driveshaft is all paid for, I just have to go pick it up tomorrow afternoon. I am moving forward with the quote I posted earlier, but I’m just waiting to hear back when the guy is available to do the work. I have 3 grand set aside for the truck, which I think should cover all of it.

 

I actually got my first report after opening up that credit card and credit builder loan, and it instantly went up to 660 from nothing.

The Dealership here in Carson City got a 4th Gen. I don't hate the look but not a fan of the grills on the fender flares and the detached head unit. Other than that it looks decent.

With that said, she got a call last week that we owed some $2,044 for anesthesia

I know she was in a half-panic cause we never have anyone calling us saying we owe anything (and she was ready to pay right then and there) but I got on the phone and asked that they forward said invoice, etc

Finally got here via mail so we follow up with our insurance - insurance says yeah of course we cover it, seems they submitted the claim incorrectly but did get paid for another claim already done at the same time

The kicker here? We're in April of 2024 and it took them over a year to realize they were short over two grand

I'm glad she's got exceptional coverage being a teacher and all, and I'm double covered, but I can't imagine anyone not being covered especially with how expensive shit is

Oh yeah I forgot about that lol. She's been super into coloring, writing out words and names, phrases, etc lately so she really wanted to add a bday card to the mix for him. I have soooooooooo many pages of stuff she's given me hanging up on my wall at work, it's starting to look like an abstract art museum

Well, found a new use for the clutch start cancel switch. You can still use it to start the truck when a bullet takes out the clutch switch or wiring….
