Yeah the Coyotes are officially leaving AZ and going to Salt Lake because they couldn't get an agreement with any city

I have the Ark liners as well, they're solid. A few clips fell out, but they come with extra, I'm just not sure where I put that bag in the garage

My understanding is that state trust land was established in early statehood to fund building new schools. It is sold periodically. I have camped on trust land near flag many times. Only 2 weeks per year allowed, permit required as stated before. The permits are kind of odd. If you drive through a piece of land you don't need a permit, you just can't stop and set foot on land. Weird. Make sure you p before entering. In 5 years I have never been asked to show a permit.

Edit. It was established in 1915. Looks like the state can use the money for just about anything they want.

The only spot I'm aware of they will occasionally enforce is parking for wave cave in the superstitions. Technically the closest trailhead/parking's is state trust land there's a NFS TH parking area about 3/4 a mile away. During busy season people park along the road etc and sometimes they'll write tickets

As I understand it, the NHLPA just didnt want to keep playing in Mullet arena while the Coyotes figured things out so they worked with the NHL to sell to a motivated owner while Meruelo figures things out.

Basically Meruelo has five years to get a stadium built and he'll get awarded an expansion franchise to re-start the Coyotes. Then he cant sell for five years.

I hope everyone lets him rot on the vine so someone else can bring legitimate hockey back six years from now. Dude cant even pay his hotel bills.

I believe a hunting license serves as a valid "permit" to access state trust lands too. If you camp, while hunting, you still need the other permit. But for daily access, nothing but your valid hunting permit is needed. Just another reason to have your pew pew with you. Evidence you are hunting.

While true does have to be proper season for what your "hunting". $20 isnt bad for a year family license and just keeps the trouble away. As much as we hate it, when you try to fight it shit gets cray cray.

While I am in a bad mood already from tax season, and I hate giving the man a dollar more than I have to,
the permit does come with a nice parking pass that seems like it would ward off any issues.

But I also use state land for hiking access, which is a little different than camping or wheeling when you are with your vehicle and able to explain what is going on to the fish or tree cop

Call me crazy, but I don't mind the $20 annual pass. Think it's just enough to pull a small percentage of people out of the way, and will ultimately just crack down on the douchebags that we don't want out there when it's enforced. :anonymous:

That's worth <$2 a month for me, even if I know the money isn't going toward maintaining the land like I'd like for it to. Hell, I think I bought 2 in 2023 just because I couldn't remember if mine had expired or not lol.

I’m currently running the MT Bajas. I love them. They ride smoother than the Coopes I had previously. When I had Toyo in the past, I really liked them too.
    Honestly,

the handling felt better at speed on the Toyo’s and Coopers over the Bajas. But that’s probably more to the E rating and the Bajas are the tallest & skinniest shoes I’ve run. So a few variables changed at once. Living in the country now with more dirt than. Asphalt, the Bajas are great. I drove them from Phx to North Central Washington without issue. But the Toyo’s regularly made Colorado trips.

    I’ve never run Falkens.

I just scouted a location in SLC perfect for a hockey team. Great weather and winter skiing.

    Plus 70MPH freeways!
