And better problems. That ford hybrid is full of issues from what I have heard , even talked about on here

Hopefully its not like my 2023 Trd Pro Sequoia. It doesn’t get near estimated MPG #’s. I’ve never gotten above 16.5 MPG and I drive like an old lady

The watts link is superior to handling over the Tacoma. Ford designed the Bronco Raptor for rock crawling.

Didn't spend a lot of time researching but an F150 Lariat 4x4 hybrid (mid grade trim) with only the FX4 and tow package is 68K.

I’m sure it helps offset the lack of articulation. I’ll take a front sway bar disconnect over a front locker any day though. I hardly touch my front arb locker. A trac + rear locker is sufficient for most scenarios. Much harder to add an electronic sway bar disconnect aftermarket than it is a front locker.

Yea that’s what I meant by better performance. Again it comes at the cost of complexity and cost, probably won’t be an issue for most owners. I have to give ford props for giving that level of attention to suspension performance.

I live in CO and drive that route regularly. Even loaded down I’ve never been WOT the whole time. 278hp and 265 tq is more than enough. 326 and 465 will be child’s play.

I'm not following you. "Bronco Raptor" has panhard rod like the Tacoma, so more articulation for better handling when rock crawling? Or "Ranger Raptor" has watts link which gives more stability for high speed handling? Or Tacoma Pro Fox rear hydraulic bump stops so the rear end doesn't lose composure (handling) when you bottom out during your high speed running?

I was originally just referring to the articulation numbers someone posted, it was either here in on the ranger thread. By performance I was referring to the fact that the watts link is a more complex setup with the added benefit of better handling and axle centering at high speed and in general. I’m not sure if it gives it worse articulation or it’s just an inherent design aspect of the new ranger , someone with more knowledge could tell you. I’m sure the regular ranger numbers are floating around somewhere. The taco just has better numbers than the raptor regardless of linkage design or trim level, probably due to the sway bar disconnect. I wasn’t comparing ride quality when initially taking about articulation though. Wouldn’t be surprised if the raptor is better.

The new hydraulic bumps are a sweet upgrade on the taco though, it sounds like you can add them to any trim, plug and play. If I get a TH I will probably add some for better bottom out resistance at higher speed.

I missed some of the mpg talk and it could have been brought up a looong time ago, but up to 26mpg?

Hah, some people don't know the feeling of yelling at the car at high RPM's up the mountain "Come on little buddy you can do it!"

Also turning off the AC so it doesn't lug it down too much

Interesting. I would have guessed the Tailhunter was to top the Pro in price. Whattabargain! Actually, that would make those Iso seats 500 a piece. Depending on your POV, the Pro would be a bargain :D

Fun times ahead. Finding an Off Road trim with hybrid and the upcoming increased supply. End prices in another year might be more realistic. Toyota can control competitor jumping with discounts.

Does it sound like only the limited has the heads up display?

I would think that too. I guess I’ll have to wait longer.

My wife’s Grand Highlander has it and I’ve gotten used to it lol.

not that it will be the only thing that puts me in a TH but it wouldn’t hurt.

Maybe I need to look into the limited and get a suspension and other upgrades myself…

lastly, need to start putting my truck to stock and selling parts, invest in dogecoin, shibacoin and hope for the best :bananadead:

I am watching a few videos this am at work but $63900 for the Pro is what the Canadian price was for 23 now that's the USD price that works out to $81k Cdn. Our province is 15% tax so that would be $94 plus dealer stuff and extra warranty you would be at $100k
