We welcome all out of state visitors, even if they are grammar nazis. ;)

:D:D:D I can’t take credit for the hood latch solution… That was a gem from various “what’s that noise“ threads on 4runners.com. those threads are gold, because they seriously can save you huge money, chasing down a stupid noise. I can’t quite visualize how your Tacoma is making noise now, however two other things those threads mention as common noises are loose splash shields in the front wheel wells, dry slide yokes in the driveshaft. Not sure if those would apply to a Tacoma but it’s worth a shot to check them out. Unfortunately, neither of those make use of “grease of opportunity”. :p

Oh there will be some mods all right
:p for me to even consider a 4th gen I would need to see several years of proven quality and reliability, damn things are expensive. I'm feeling good about keeping this one for a while. The more mods that go on it the more trading it sounds bad

Holy smokes, no thanks, pucker factor 100 right there!

In the interest of the "financial advice" part of the thread, just received an email that Woolwax is having a spring sale. Enter promo code “spring24” at checkout. Looks like they have a dark grey color now too, interesting.
