Just use a long piece of rubber hose that fits over the plug snugly, I use a piece of heater hose. It slides right down the hole, and with with little push, over the plug tip and lift it out, same thing for starting the plug threads.. the sides of the hole actually support the hose and keep it straight. Its much easier than a socket

Did a BG44K gas treatment, changed oil and filter. I’m convinced I can’t see the 0-20wt oil on the dipstick after changing.. tried every trick in the book, even as far as the dry towel method… waited until this morning after it removed a little tarnish, and I could see it better.

You're really missing an opportunity here. I'd tell them I'll be having a trusted body shop perform the repair, bring them the quote for repair, and be gone with a check in hand. That hybrid bumper would show up on Toyota's dime.

Got my new RCI engine skid plate and am patiently waiting for my fuel tank skid to show up.

It's replacing an older style engine skid plate that didn't have the diff bump or the extra mounting holes.
The old one I had worked just fine but I had is spaced a 1/2" lower to give the diff plenty of space.
So now I have more ground clearance and I feel better that it uses 6 mounting holes vs the 4 that the old one did.

The red dot I put on there so I know where the jacking point is. On the back side I put a piece of 3/8" HDPE to fill the gap from the skid to the lift point. So that way the skid won't bend if I lift from there.

It works really well, just make sure you prep the paint correctly before using it and don’t use to much. Unless you are using on multiple vehicles I don’t know that you would use 2 bottles before it is past its shelf life but that is a good deal. The hybrid tire dressing and the interior job also work very well and are not overly shinny. The inside job also doesn’t leave the slimy residue that some interior cleaners do.

I went outside with a glass of wine (don’t hate) and whispered sweet nothings to white lightning.

Hindsight is always 2020, last thing on earth I expected to deal with this morning and I’ll be armed the next time this happens (hopefully never but not with my luck). Definitely took me about 10 minutes to even understand how the heck they managed to even do it, let alone come up with a plan to get a new fancy bumper out of it lol

None to speak of, just enjoying it for the moment.
I use it and it is fantastic, it's the next evolution in ceramic coating and independent testing indicates its an excellent choice and lasts quite long. Turtle Wax is doing a great job lately I think.

I’m always hoping someone tags my bumper, front or rear, so I can take the check and go to Warfab Armors website and add to cart :D

Edit: I don’t even hit the horn anymore, I just grin and hope.
