Anyone trying to buy an RV should be able to negotiate great deals right now with the slow market and high interest rates. I know dealers aren’t paying shit for lightly used units.

Yeah those that come in don't last though not sure how many they order if any
Confirmed with my bro and he did say right now and fall are the best times for better deals

 

Don't fall for the mega long loan terms (I remember going to one of the RV shows last year and everything was priced out using a 120- 180 Month loan) to get monthly $ low.

 

A 10 year RV Loan is a dangerous thing!

 

i already signed up for a lifelong term with my wife and a 30 year with my bank.

 

And it loses 1/2 it's value after one summer of use

 

It loses half the value when you connect it to your vehicle to drive off the lot. Make sure you crawl around in the "garage" and storage areas and check that the construction isn't total sh*t like most RVs.

 

Anyone have alternatives to rotopax locks? Mine finally seized up which is a known issue. Thankfully they weren't lock.

I was going to recommend a travel trailer since you've got the family, but that'll be too much weight. I will refrain from Jeep comments.

 

The rule when I was a kid was children sleep outside the RV in a tent...

 

3 months is a little young to be outside in a tent alone but i get your point haha
