So the gas treatment did a good job or is it just an additive to give you better gas mileage?

 

What exact grill did you get? I’m looking for one just like that with the same camera mount.

Also I’ve been thinking about removing the front seat bar as well. I think it bangs on my TRD Pro skid plate at times and I have stiffer springs up front anyway. Have you mad any sudden high speed turns, like emergency type stuff? That’s my only worry. How did it handle if so?

Yes, nFab, was not easy to get one since they are technically "out of business" or bought by some other company but the part itself is good stuff. Fits my needs.

it’s hard to find, and more often than not, you have to ask for it, although I got mine on Amazon. Dealers typically want 25-30 a can. Years ago Hot Rod bike magazine did a fiber optic camera inspection on an old Vtwin, through the intake, exhaust ports, and broke down the carburetor bowl as well. You could clearly see carbon deposits on the exhaust side, some gumming and fuel tarnish in the bowl and intake track. They ran one can of BG-44K through it over the course of a few tanks of fuel to meet the mixing ratio (Tank size varies on V twins). Then they did the camera again and posted side by side images. It was very clear and apparent it cleaned the entire fuel and combustion track. Bike was an older shovel I believe, but had about 50k on it
I use one can to one tank of premium in the truck.

Would the 265/75r16 Falken Wildpeak AT3's rub without the lift? The lift looks great, but just curious if those will work on an stock SR suspension. THanks

 

should work with minimal rub. not sure of the offset of the stock SR wheels, but i had 265/70r17s (17" wheel equivalent) with no lift and very minimal rubbing on 0 offset wheels.

 

Did you install the TRD air accelerator as well?
