Well... Must be doing something right! Took seven students to a welding competition at Northwoods Technical College today. Not even my best seven. Had a freshman in the group. Took: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 13, 16 places. Nice! Big smile over here!

With all the practice they had doing the flatbed, I am not surprised. Well done, teach.

    Faaaaaack….

Literally shook my head the whole time watching this. I even felt disappointed that someone would ever take a risk like that.

But the video was muted the firsttime I saw it.

Once I turned the sound on, themusic made it all make sense…that crossing needed to happen. Lol

Cool setup! I like the idea of a slide-out on a truck camper!

    Good Point!

One of the things I still love about tent camping is the option to leave the rain fly off when the weather permits. There's nothing much better than looking up at the stars on a perfect night!

You could just pass out in a chair by the campfire from drinking Old Fashions.

    Haha!

I fell asleep on a bench at Picnic Point one night after several beers back in the day. Back then, though, falling asleep around the fire meant that you were going to get fucked with.

I still remember when one guy passed out in his chair, and somehow he wound up with a bunch of shit drawn on his face with a sharpie. And, another guy wrote an impromptu song about it.

    Good times!

Edit: I'm glad that I hang out with people who probably wouldn't do that now... or, at least they wouldn't draw a giant cock on your face.

Edit, edit: or, would they?

Last time I didn’t put on my rain fly with a perfectly clear forecast, I woke up in the middle the night getting rained on.

now I always have it on but will leave the vents or vestibule open

I was thinking about you when I added the second edit. ;)

I've gotten burned by it once, also. Still worth the risk, sometimes.
