I got an another dumb question for yall, how do you buy new tires that may not fit?

Do you just send it to the shop and let it rub (however bad that might be) the whole drive home from the tire shop and then start the body work?

Or 4 trips back and forth to the shop in the daily while the truck sits on stands..

Also any favorite tires these days? Don’t plan on getting another set of LingLongs

You put the tires in the bed you ding dong, srine them home then make em fit. You only need to worry about it if they are 35s or bigger. Even then you can drive it home if you take the flares off.

Should’ve added I plan on keeping the same wheels, so I don’t have an extra set laying around to get there and back without driving on the new tires
Yeah only going up to 33s so I’m probably just way overthinking it

Yes you are. Hell I was introduced to 33s 700 miles from home when I popped a tire in BC and that was the closest size. Finished the trip, drive the trails and dealt with it when I got home. You won't hurt anything. Maybe some funny noises on the way home but otherwise you're going to be fine. 35# are when you have some trouble as seen below when I tried driving on them before cutting.

255s are the best tires for these trucks. Just put the size into Discount Tire and compare the options. I went with KM3s since they were doing a promotion at the time.

Have you tried 35s? No? You aren't qualified to make such a statement.

    I've become a domesticated monkey - I gots a sewings machine or what I like to call a POWER-SEWER!!!

I'm making a sock monkey for a vendor I've worked a big project with -- he gets my "monkey-isms" -- this is the practice monkey.

I'm also going to make my own hats -- I have a child's head so I never can find a hat I like. I run in the same ones but I want some crazy NEON and fun ones...so yea. DO IT MYSELF -- its like welding with fabrics?

TBF - the hat there is a prototype - the bill is all wrong for sure. Just got sewing machine today so played with a reuseable bag in attempting a hat to see if I could. So excited now to make a REAL one.
