I honestly don't think anyone in our group would draw on anyone's face if they passed out.
    I never would.

When we were kids we had one guy that was a beer slammer, get drunk quick & pass out, well one time he did it & some people took green & black markers to his face.

Next morning he wakes up early like 6:30 & leaves on a 3 mile walk home, first mile has a mcdonalds (I'm hungry) notices people giving him strange looks, doesn't care, gets home and looks in the bathroom mirror and suddenly realizes where the looks came from.

    He wasn't happy!!

When I was a scholar at the Caddyshack in Madison there were numerous occasions of marker shenanigans. I was the recipient as much as I was the artist, and though it was entertaining as a 18 year old those days are confidently over.

One occasion in particular was on Halloween when my roommate dressed up as Walter from The Big Lebowski. He was clean shaven though, and when he passed out early I set to rectifying that along with the other roommates. Brown “washable” Crayola marker did the job nicely. In the morning we were awoken by loud yelling at 6am when he tried to put that “washable” part to the test and it wouldn’t come off. Turns out he had a JROTC parade the next day and didn’t tell any of us. He never let that one go, but even his mom & sister thought it was funny and didn’t blame us since he didn’t say a word about the parade before hand (they even baked us cookies on the next visit). Funny enough is Sharpie washes off quite easily by comparison, who’d have guessed it.

Very cool, look forward to seeing more when you get service again! As far as modern society/amenities are concerned, that area is pure desolation for several hours in any direction. Driving through west Texas is the second most boring drive only to Kansas/Nebraska.

Can't say I have been to Kansas or West Texas, but Eastern Montana is a never ending slog...

Illinois and Indiana are probably the worst ones I drive through with any regularity. I've never been to west Texas, but some sections on the way to Austin are pretty dull.

A mile off the main road, you're 50 miles from nowhere.

    Lol! I resemble that remark!

I know we talk about boozing a lot. But, we really don't drink all day. Well, sometimes I do. But, not always! :anonymous:

Funny story about it, though.. I stopped at a liquor store in Madison a few days ago just to see what kind of tequila they had. As I was walking up to the register and talking to the cashier, I noticed a bottle of Fortaleza Blanco on the counter and pretty much froze like I had seen a ghost. I've been looking everywhere for that stuff, even when I was in Florida. So, I bought it and still bought the other bottle I had grabbed. Based on the way I reacted when I saw it I'd almost bet that the cashier thought I was nuts!
