Just curious but If I am correct the last year a bench seat was offered in a Tacoma was around 2014 and it was only available in the regular cab trucks. I was wondering if it would be possible to take a a bench seat out of a regular cab and swap into an access cab or crew cab truck (specifically of the second generation). Any ideas? Thanks!

    Where are you located?
Is your truck a manual transmission?
I have a 2010 with a bench seat in PERFECT condition and i want to swap for buckets.
    It can be done.

I may be too late but I'm on my quest of doing something similar to what this gentleman's post is talking about, swapping bucket to bench. Can you lead me to some sources or DM some instructions on how to complete this? I have a 2007 Tacoma, 4speed auto, extended cab.

    Thanks,

as a person going from bench to buckets, it's not bad, but wiring could be done pretty easily, in fact, you don't need as much wiring in the bench as the buckets, the buckets have more sensors, but the bench has more wire, in general though, they should theoretically line up perfectly, and you only need 4 bolts to mate it, instead of 8 if you find a single cab or want new parts you can always look up a vin number from a single cab and get the same parts, the only part you will have to worry about is the damn half console, as a SC owner, i'm not happy that they had it in the first place, kinda cool growing up in the truck i daily now, but that console got much more annoying as i got older.
