Toyota doesnt use a fuel pump fuse, best you can do is pull EFI Main 2 Relay, or EFI Main No 2. fuse. Pulling these will trigger a cascade of errors in the truck.

    rolled93slc and Dm93 like this.

Im not saying I know, as this Toyota thing is new to me....
But as a long time ford tech, they have a chip integrated into to key or remote...
theres no "hot wiring" it like back in the day...
without a key or remote present, they cant wire it to start...
ask you dealer, you may be over thinking things.

There's key fob spoofing/duplicating happening, also there's canbus hacking on some toyotas.

It's not like Toyotas are being stolen frequently like F250s but there's a small risk currently.

I personally wouldnt worry about it, but if parking long term, doesnt hurt to pull a fuse for peace of mind.

    Got it!
I agree, pulling a relay every night would be excessive...
Would imagine that will present problems in-itself, wear-out connectors...

Back in the day, we'd interconnect the fuel pump relay or ECU relay with another relay connected to the seatbelt latch switch.

You'd have to put your seatbelt on to start the vehicle.

Criminals don't put seatbelt on prior to starting stolen vehicle, if at all.

Or get a stick shift, more effective these days...
