Damn, I already have plans... Made just a moment ago!

I'm getting 33's :D... kinda just said eff it, went to the Discount tire after dinner, let them sell me a set of 285/70R17 Toyo Open Country ATIIIs.:spending:

I'll have to sell my old tires as spares. I have one brand spanking new HT that's never seen pavement, and then 3 good Wildpeak AT3's and 1 almost-good AT3 with a screw in it.

Electricians in here... wondering if a quote I got is reasonable or not.

Work done is gonna be opening up a wall and flipping an outlet from one side of the drywall to the other (stove plug to rec room for audio and computer gear), adding a dedicated circuit in my garage for power tools and shit, and some low voltage conduit for a camera system.

Total is basically 2k even. Sound about right?

I had similar work done. the outlet flip doesn’t cost much probably $200 max. The dedicated circuit probably in between $800-1200 depending in crawl space/attic line fishing and if you want the romex hidden in wall versus some THHN in an external conduit.

The 20 amp gfci circuit breaker will be between $50-100 on its own.

Probably a day job for the work. Sounds right.

Not counting if you need permits.

I added a ciruit breaker in my basement to change lighting layout (split lights between halves). I was young and stupid enough to not worry about the 3 wires going to the correct grounding bars inside the box, to the common for the fuses and for the "hot". Drywall work is just annoying enough to leave it to them. And as stated ... snaking wire through the wall is not always fun.

If that description made you say "I will supervise, with a beer", then you are probably right.

Garage circuits are by far the easiest to do yourself. And if that's the most expensive part, I would definitely try to.

I looked at it a while ago and the issue is the box is on the opposite side of the house. Which means fishing and being in the attic. I'm fine to leave that up to a professional.

Anyways I'm splitting the bill 50/50 with the roomie and it was merely for my peace of mind that I wasn't getting absolutely fleeced on a $500 job.

Run it, test under articulation. If the bumper and mudflap do touch, see if you can just heat gun move em a bit

Oh the mudflap just straight up scraped at static ride height. Pulled them and yote 'em.

Bumper (front side) scrapes bad coming out of the driveway. I have a line for another cut in mind. I'll just nibble away until I have a "don't-call-it-a-viper-cut" cut. :D

Snaking wire that is not cheap (12/3 probably for 20 AMP, unless the new standard is 10/3) the full length of the house, plus the breaker ... I would not worry about it.
