Kind of a startling thing (for me) happened today.

As usual I was mowin' along, singin' a song (Charlie Dore) at one of the downtown properties, the house next door was sold over the winter and the couple came out so I went over to introduce myself.

The young fellow asked how much I charged for mowing, I said that I was a landlord not a landscaper. They don't have a working mower -- he put two Jacksons in my hand!


My little ZT turned 600 hours last week - this is the first time I have been paid for mowing.

 

Us Yankees have always called them wrecking bars.

Crow bar never made sense to me.

 

Puhlease, I've seen what they do in a day and in a week. No idea how many logistic people are unionized but this one is. It's not a bad gig. Forklifting, sorting, tagging, delivering etc...

I still have “crazy ex girlfriend” texts from disgruntled “ex” employees that couldn’t take being let go from 6 years ago. And why does my sister in law keep involving me in family group texts every holiday so my phone can chime all day long with emojis. I saw a text that said my nephew loved that someone else loved a text. I can’t be the only one who gets 17 page group texts every holiday

 

Thankfully my family leaves me alone..

 

There are some advantages to not having any family...

Mrs Green on the other hand, seems to be dozens of them.

 

I grew up with 13 other siblings. Too much to keep up with. I just turn my sound off

 

It could be useful for self defense

 

I am just the opposite, I left them alone!

 

Make sure there is also a tool belt with other tools. That way it can't be considered premeditated.

So on the whole weed thing!
I’m glad we legalized it but that’s me!
I’ve smoked for along time but now it’s mostly to help sleep.
I’d always had people I could get it from and it was cheaper than what dispensary charges.
But it’s pretty cool to shop in the dispensary.
I was all sketchy about the first time I went in but was surprised by who else was also shopping.
From kids to old people one guy had an oxygen tank!
Being in a better spot in life I don’t mind paying extra and so many choices compared to yea this is what I got!
The state is making a killing off it and people are happy.
A lot of people I know smoke it’s kinda like having a beer with your neighbor.
I personally haven’t shared a pipe or joint since Covid.
I just smoke a little before bed now.

Alright I have the same thing. Finally had to tell my sister to stop including me in group texts. The final straw came when she sent out text at midnight telling everyone in her contacts a happy New Year and I had been up since 04:00 for work, and was in bed sleeping,it went on for hours and all day that day. From people I don't know.
Besides I don't need to know that you're replying to a text if I don't know you.
