    Considering cutting the shaft down an inch or so too. Shorter throws and looks more racetruck.

    @BassAckwards @TodayWasTHeDaY

    I think one of you mentioned that I should get the OEM seals instead of using the ones that come with the diff rebuild kits. What are your thoughts?

    I have always gone with an OEM pinion seal. The guy that has helped me with my gear setup has recommended this in the past

    As far as I know Yukon is fairly well regarded stuff and is what Krave installed on my diffs. East Coast Gear Supply has tons of Yukon stuff on their website.

    Yeah, I ordered that rebuild kit in the picture and I was expecting USA Gear but got Yukon, not sure if they're actually the same company, but I was happy to see the Yukon stuff when it arrived.

    Lol

    Joke had to be made. No not yet. Trying to figure out where the most cost-efficient place is, could be the driveline shop rather than a machine shop.

    This thread has been inspiring. I'm going through some similar things myself (family wise and cars) and all I can say is the boost bros are behind you. Do the family thing and the boost bros always going to be here, ready to watch for the next step.

    Thanks man. Always makes me feel good if I can inspire someone, even if it's to do something small to his truck.

    Family things meaning things are well but busy hopefully?

    That's right, we're always behind each other. But everyone is behind me though, no one can get in front. LOL JK

    Was driving close to home and my truck suddenly wouldn't boost over 4psi. Turned off the music and could tell the belt was still intact. Figured throttle body issue (I bought a used probably high mileage one). Opened the hood when I got home and oil everywhere. It was leaking and the fan was blowing it everywhere. Luckily didn't lose it all.

    Truck sat for a week because I'm a procrastination expert. Checked it out and it was a bad hose to fitting connection on the upper oil cooler line. Obviously that was something I did myself. Removed the filter sandwich and bypassed the oil cooler for now, until later this week when I have some more time to redo that. Luckily the alternator doesn't seem to be damaged, didn't look like a lot of oil went on that side of the engine.

    And I know what you're thinking but I'm actually a certified ziptie technician lol :rofl:

    Someone rubbed into my truck in a parking lot. I have no idea where. Fak.

    I told myself it could be worse, it could be a blown engine for example, and that made me feel better.

    That sucks hard. People suck.

    I've got numerous scratches that have randomly popped up from fucktards, both on my truck and the wife's SUV. Given up on the exterior of my truck until I someday get it repainted.
