Coles coed baseball game was ugly yesterday. Final score was 23-0.

Cole had the best hit of either team to deep left center. When he got to 3rd coach told him to go home.

Catcher was standing in the way and Cole ran into him, had no choice. Knocked the catcher’s glove off. Umpire called Cole out.

One of the girls on our team ran into the first baseman and knocked him down. That team needs to learn to get to the side of the bag

I got a bigger problem with Facebook being "weponized".

Peeps take pics of things that others were not included to for various reasons. The people see pics and wonder why they were not invited. The original poster knows damn well the person will see the pics and is just twisting the knife.

I see this often involving kids whose parents are going thru tough times and the custody parent is just being petty.

My second bitch is peeps who post every pic they take to FB ( my sister). I tell don't post our pics to FB or you are not taking our pic.

The last time she did this I was getting contacted by people from 20 years ago. Never again.

The wife and I quit the book of faces about 5 years ago. Best thing we have done. TW is as close as I come to a social media presence

 

I only put up with it for the use of the marketplace. The people part can be totally removed for all I care.

 

I see that with split parents as well. FB is also a highlight reel and a lot of people don’t realize that.

I share my struggles here, I don’t want people thinking my life is perfect and I have it made.

I struggle the same way each and every one of you do.

 

I was never on it once I found out everyone was. Folks I keep in contact with I got on speed dial. All others not so much. I get asked why all the time.

 

The same thing happened to my wife. Within a day of signing up for FB, her ex from about 40 years ago contacted her. She says they had an amicable split but she didn't want to start having contact with him again.

 

You can always pause notifications for any text conversation you are included in that you do not want to participate in. The phone will be blissfully silent allowing you decide to look at the text thread when you want to.

 

What made me pass on FB was when wife joined and all of a sudden I was getting calls and emails from people say oh you joined FB. Me no!!!
Then my buddy said yeah it reads your contacts and shows everyone you joined. Then found out that my previous employer was tracking employees and their posts. That's enough to keep me off it.
It took me years to get comfortable with TW.

 

So like a Prenetual Clause then.
