Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
No comment on most of this, but seating height is kind of odd.

I am 6ft 2in and I wear a baseball cap and sit on a cushion that is 2 inch thick. My head not even near touching the inside of the roof.

2016 TRD Off Road. Must have changed the seating on the newer ones.

With standards like these u will more than likely never get disappointed. Maybe I should lower mine.

Sounds like you got a lemon. Any vehicle has stuff that we don’t like, or doesn’t work like we think it should. The ones where everything is peachy, they’re unicorns. Good luck with that quest. :)

    1) I almost wish it was a bit less responsive, I live in a hilly area and it's always down shifting.
    2) Six foot and no sunroof, it's never an issue, but if your coming from a full size truck it will be smaller. I've always had small cars so the interior size is okay for me.
    3) I get the wife to reach in when I'm driving.
    4) Never an issue.
    5) Never an issue. In fact it has saved my bacon a couple of times.
    6) Never an issue.
    7) Never an issue. Honestly I've never used the remote, I only use the handle.
    8) Never an issue.

Why would you buy anything without driving it first??? I test drove a 2020 and a 2022 before I bought mine and that told me I didn't want a sunroof. I agree if you don't like it sell it, here I wouldn't lose a penny on it.

A mid-90s Taylor 414. A wonderful guitar with a great voice. I keep it up at my cabin now.

I have no interest in reading all of this thread, but I'm going to call BS on the roominess of the drivers seat. I'm 6'5"(36" inseem) and could stand to lose some weight. There is more than ample head and leg room in my SR5. In fact, I even move my seat up a click or two when one of my sons is sitting in the driver's side rear seat. So while you claim to scrape your head somehow getting in an out of a Tacoma, I actually cut my head open on my garage door opener a few weeks ago. I also often times skim my head on the ceiling in my stairway.

Sell your truck and buy a dually if you need more space and aren't happy about your current vehicle.

    Yeah.
Some people are just built differently. Some have long legs and a short torso, some with a long torso and short legs, and everything in between. Maybe OP is built like this.

Hey! How old is your black kitty? Ours is a twin to yours, was a young street kitty rescue from your hood and will be 15 in June-ish. Wonder if they're related.
