Is it possible your wide band is faulty?

I mean it's a possibility but it's brand new and when the mapecu is not hooked up it's very stable and 14.5-ish in closed loop.

Ok that's good then. Didn't know if it was an old dud.

Decided to try running my MAF in the charge pipe despite having the pre turbo and bov setup dialed, fuel trims good. Maf is right after the turbo prior to the cooler. (this was just an experiment so I didn't want to go through the effort of moving the cooler and new mounts yada yada. Also expected a stalling issue when closing the throttle but that doesn't happen.) Truck seems to run well but my ltft are - 15. Anyone else see this with the blow through maf? My wallet likes the idea of a 15% decrease in fuel consumption.

What do the IAT's look like post turbo? You could then move Maf post IC to get a temp there too just for fun.

Hopefully the -15% shows up in the milage. Did you gain any response? I did on a previous vehicle switching from draw thru to blow thru.

150s easy. Wasn't paying attention to that on the long climb I did. Was thinking those high temps may have something to do with it if it's really getting closer to ambient temp. Would think higher temps would be less air density so less fuel and not be pulling as much fuel.

Ideally it'd be right after the cooler but that's going to require a bit more work, including a maf harness extension.

I don't think I noticed much response wise but being a new setup to me I haven't pushed it too hard yet. Afrs seem good enough.

Temps could have something to do with it.

    What is new setup?

Maf temp sensor doesn't have to be right after to cooler, mine is a couple feet after it and temps get down to ambient at speed.

Don't have a pic of it with the maf where it currently is but it's the same spot the recirc valve is connected to in the picture. It would have to be right after the cooler, I want my intake piping as short as I can. Hoping to get a stand alone setup going at some point so I'm not super concerned with having the maf in the charge pipe at this point.

I'm blow through with my set up as well, my LTFTs at idle sit between -15 to -17 as well. Also, not sure if it is related to being blow through, but after initial start up and throttling through the neighborhood my afrs fluctuate a bit like its 'hunting' to figure it out but after that it levels out and stays pretty consistent around 14.7.

This is my theory as well. My MPG significantly improved last summer after I put the turbo on, saw 18 mpg for the first time ever. However, during the winter those MPGs significantly dropped... was getting about 12 mpg all winter here.

Think I'm going back to preturbo maf. Afrs seem to jump around a lot more with it in the charge pipe and my coolant starts to climb up to 210 going up the grade on my commute. Didn't notice that when it was pre turbo, hoping it has something to do with the new maf location and not a leaking headgasket already.

Has anyone done or heard of delaying a wideband startup until after the engine is running to save the sensor?
