yes! Mark is on the road with Kerry, in his new band. They’re playing this August(?) with Lamb of God & Mastodon in Jacksonville (near me).
My buddy & I were talking about going. But we’ve seen LoG about 6 or 7 times each. I don’t love or hate them. And we saw Mastodon last year!
Just trying to see other stuff.

Some of tonight’s selections are from Pantera. I was fortunate enough to see them on their final tour. I even have a pass/laminate and I have photos with Dime & Vinnie.

Reminds me of Henry Rollins talking about driving, said he has a 3 disc changer in his vehicle. 1-2 always moving in and out, 3 is Slayer. If people dick around at lights he's blasting Slayer and beeping the horn while foaming at the mouth.

Wifey & I went to see Rollins a bunch when we first started dating and at one of those shows, he told a story about keeping that Slayer disc in his car. If I remember correctly, it was “Diabolus in Musica.” And he had a pretty funny story about driving around in his Subaru blasting Slayer and going into a sort of trance like state(due to SLAYER)… coming to and having driven over any obstacles in his path.

Been a disciple since about 1984 when I found the Damaged album.

 

Just have to put a piece of foam under it so it doesn't skip over bumps.
