Bought these supreme suspensions upper control arms can't get the uniball to line up with the spindle. The photo is the most I can get it to line up.

You have to flex the uniball to the correct angle

Is there some special technique to do that? I can't get it to move at all

As stated the angle to mate nicely. You can try to use a ratchet strap to help pull arms closer together, alternatively assuming vehicle is properly supported you could use jack under LCA a bit to help close gap..

Push. HARD. Wear gloves if you have to. A fresh uniball will be quite stiff.

Take the shocks off, or remove the bottom shock bolt so you can raise the lower control arm to align them.

Crap, I'm going to have to take this thing off and try that, literally just move the other side with it on a work bench and me 230lbs laying on top of it

How tight is your rear through-bolt? Is the UCA itself fighting back enough that you can’t push it down?

I got it in, thanks guys.

Can't wait to start the rear, fronts been a PITA

I got started last night and found one of the bolts holding my Sway bar was just hanging loose, turns out the bolt had just broken loose on its own in the frame, so I'm going no Sway bar until I figure out how to weld that back in

Good job!! Sorry if this is unwarranted and not to pick anything apart or be a jerk as I know you just did a bunch of stuff.. also I don’t have bilsteins or a Tacoma so I could be mistaken, but if you are picky, I believe this bolt is flipped.. should face the other way, gives maximum clearance to CV. Not sure how big of a deal this is but I believe when I installed aftermarket coilovers on my T4R it was a highlighted bullet point in the instructions.. IMG_4592.jpg

    I appreciate it!
and That's the stock bolt, and I thought it was dumb having to put it in that way, but swear that's how the came put, bolt went in from the rear nut on the front.

I could be mistaken though as it was like 10pm last night when I took them out

if it went in through the rear with nut in the front that is correct, and what I was getting at. So I agree with you and sounds like you have it the way it’s intended.. in the photo it looked like that’s the bolt head side as you couldn’t see much thread but looking closer maybe it wasn’t snugged up yet
