Does anyone know if the process to “flush” transmission fluid is the same for our 3rd gens like the video I linked? Wondering if anyone had pics/video to pinpoint the line to disconnect. Looking for a more proficient way of exchanging original fluid for aftermarket while still being DIY. Just feel like the drain/fill method requires a lot of repetitions to just end up with more of a mixed solution rather than exchanging.

FYI, I have ‘23 OR without the external trans cooler since those were removed around 2021.

I do all my other fluids, but just paid $350
to get mine done today. The transmission flush procedure just looks way too involved as required. DIY is great and saves a lot of money, it’s just not worth it for such an involved process IMHO.
Let us know how yours works out!

Yes, it's the same. THat damn hand pump was a pain. I would suggest getting a 12v fluid pump. I would also get the right clear tubing to fit the lines. Being able to see the fluid starting to change color helps know where you're at and is somewhat satisfying seeing that dark color turn clear red.

I bought a gallon pump up weed sprayer for $18 from a hardware store. I removed the tip and installed some hose. It works extremely well.

Put 3 quarts in pump it up squeeze the handle that works really well.

I bought my own fluid and paid the dealer 120$ to perform the flush with the machine.

Interestingly enough, the vehicle shifts much better now and doesn't "slip" out of gears.

I didn't expect to notice a difference but I have.
