All this time I have had to calculate the actual time of posts etc. cause I am forum incompetant.....the default is GMT....which is 3 hours behind me...all my times are now showing EST.

Wow...I feel I have been set free.....It pays to look around....

If you have been doing the same as I, here is how to fix it....

-Click on User CP on the blue bar above.....
-then click on edit options on the left.....
-scroll down to date and time options.......
    -select your time zone
-click on save at the bottom

let the roasting of a hilljack hoosier begin.......:D

If you are in the Eastern time zone, GMT is 5 hours AHEAD of you.
    Merry Christmas!

No problem. Here is another one for you though. I'm a keeper of odd knowledge, and I'm feeling generous tonight. GMT is no longer the accepted terminology, although it still shows up. GMT is an acronym for Greenwich Mean Time. UTC (Universal Time Coordinated) is now supposed to be the term we use. Still the same thing, just an update.
    Merry Christmas!
