Many decades here have taught me that Colorado will be what IT wants to be in 2 weeks. Which could mean sun, or rain, or snow. Hot or cold. I've given up camping in May, or at least camping dry and warm.

I have a locking hitch pin for my D-ring and for the bike rack.
It's just frustrating to have stuff taken but I'm getting better at dealing w/ it and unfortunately accepting as another cost of driving.

I grease the ball hitches on my taco liberally. Sucks when I bump 'em with good trousers on, but None have gone missing. Grease is a ball hitches best friend. ;-)

I can tell you "high country" east of Steamboat can be mighty cold camping in May ;_)

I went with the recommended size from Accutune, but haven't put enough milage on it yet to be sure. Nice thing is they offer custom spacers in case the travel isn't enough.

run and run fast from SPC. Their quality has fallen off. They used to be a company that was an easy fix for correcting angles and moving the tire forward bc of lift, but you will regret it. You will be clunky, riding rough, and pissed off wondering why your truck rides like sheeet after a few months after you JUST installed new parts. Take it from me, stay away from SPC.

didnt know they offered different sizes. i have icon rxt rear shocks with the weird offset lower mount so they kinda need stock height bump stops at compression. want to utilize every single inch of travel available. these seem like a good option. i had plan to order some hammer hangers anyways

Installed the TRD skid plate on my ‘23 Sport yesterday. When I was doing the install I found the rear piece of the factory skid plate was missing along with its bolts. Thought that seemed odd but moved on. Then while trying to install the new TRD plate, the rear 12mm bolt on the driver side just would not screw into the bolt hole. Tried a bolt straight into the hole and it would rotate once and stop. The passenger side it fit just fine. I then remembered that after having my oil changed the first time, I had some rattling come from the front of the truck. It turned out to be one of the bolts in the front skid plate that wasn’t secure. It had been mis-threaded so it stopped before it could secure the plate in place. At the time I didn’t think anything of it as I was able to back it out and correct it. But now I’m thinking the dealer probably mid-threaded the rear skid plate and then just said “screw it” and decided to not fix it or re-I stall it.

I ended up getting a tapper and rethreaded the hole. After that the new skid plate installed easy peasy.

The Sport model only comes with the front part of the engine skid plate.

I think the Sport trim only comes from the factory with only a front skid plate. I believe the OR trim comes with a front and rear plate (2 pieces).

Someone/Anyone, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Edit: MrMobile beat me to it.
