was bored last night, started with a drill with wire wheel, took all the light rusting off from shipping.
prepped with TSP solution and degreased them, taped off the area's to be welded to the frame.
sprayed 3 ligth coats of primer.
then 2 coats of rustoleum bed liner.

i am going to spray 1-2 light coats of bedliner again and 3 coats of clear but am waiting for them to cure for a few days. then on to find time for welding to my truck. I will say the i am wearing a respirator next time. I hate breathing in all that crap.... I am very pleased with the way they came out and can't wait to get them on my truck, plus my new wheels.

Looks good! Did you get them welded on yet? I like the look of the cbi sliders but I'm concerned that the kick out doesn't have any support in the middle

lessoned learned, There is alot more to painting than i thought. it was starting to get chips just from moving them around. i checked area's on the sliders with a screw driver and was removing paint after applying very little pressure and was like ok, off to powdercoating, for a $150 to have them sandblast and powder coated seemed like a good deal. i should have them tomorrow and welded on my truck friday.
