    I kinda think they are trying to move the production of their volume seller out of the US so that the UAW doesn't aggressively pursue Toyota like they are Tesla and VW right now.

    Yup, agreed.

    UAW has said that they plan to unionize EVERY manufacturer in the US.

    But, Toyota is also seeing how far they can push pricing for their most popular product.

    Yes, that is capitalism unfortunately. While I think capitalism is the best system, it still has it's flaws. Other automakers are doing the same. I do think we are finally seeing a ceiling of how far they can go though. It's been a while since there has been cash on the hood for pickups and that seems to happening.

    I just got back from the Toyota dealer here. Still have $4000 addendums on their Tacoma 56K for TRD 2 wheel drive..... I don't think so. they had 42K on an SR 5... The sales guy told me that they're not selling as many as they thought they were going to.
