I don't think the Rts come in the size I wanted but I looked into them too


Now if a set of 17” wheels fell into my yard, I would have some other options to fit 33,34 or 35” tires.

 

yeahhhh the options for 17” wheels are so much better.

@TacoFMS is selling some 17’s I do believe.

here’s the difference- mine with the 255/85/16s and the bottom with 35s

Killed about 6 hours of the day riding to Kennett Square and back to visit a customer for work. Always a nice chill drive across the back-ish roads to Forrest Hill and up Rt 1.

Have an appointment at the dealer for the rear axle recall on Friday. Fingers crossed I'm out in 30 minutes or less.

 

I ran Kendra’s a few times but on ATV’s and dirtbikes… never cared for them much. Very soft rubber. Would chew up lugs and wear super fast. But they were cheap, so at the time a fair trade off. As per vehicle tires, I can’t really comment… but I doubt I’ll ever buy anything of theirs again.

Cooper’s aren’t in the running either?

 

Thanks for the insight. I saw some of the reviews of the Kenda MTs mention about soft rubber but not sure I saw the same about the ats. I’ll have to check out more reviews to be sure.

while it’s 99% probably my fault, the coopers I have didn’t wear well. I’m not sure if I missed a rotation or two, my alignment was out or not balanced and it messed them up. They have 20th k miles on them and one of them is just about at the wear bar. not sure you can tell in the picture but each tire has different tread heights-

Find you a set of 17" oem wheels for cheap and get these tires I'm selling and you can likely come in under the cost of a brand new set of tires...

 

I’ve been keeping an eye out but not ready to pull the trigger quite yet. I’ll have to go back to your tire post in @Road_Warrior thread and take another look

 

What sort of tires are you selling? The T4R could use something new(er) then the good-for-a-year that I have on it right now.

It’s nice to see they ditched those horrible Toyo highway tires that a lot of the 3rd Gen’s came with.

 

I got 18k out of mine and two were bald. The one with the most tread became my full size spare and the other three got thrown out.

ST Maxx are awesome. One of my favorite tires i’ve ever owned. They only have three cons:

1. Wear
2. They always pull to one side or the other no matter your alignment or the crown of the road.
3. Price

Mine always pulled to one side depending on how i rotated them. Some people claim that it is due to some sort of casting flaw when the tires are made but i’m way to dumb to know for sure. I still think they are the single best looking tire i’ve ever owned, maybe even ever seen.

I also tried something way different with this current set of tires that are on my truck. I decided to keep the tires all rotating the same direction. Meaning, i just swap the front straight to the rear and the rear straight to the back, keeping the passenger side tires always on the passenger side and the driver’s side tires always on the driver’s side. I started doing that with my parents vehicles and anyone else that i change oil/do tire rotations for and so far every single vehicle has seen more tread life. So i’d say there is something to consider when you have aggressive tires. The more aggressive the tire, the more it hurts the tire when you swap it to the other side of the truck and it begins to rotate the other direction and scrub off all its wear from its previous orientation.

 

Thanks for the review! Too bad I messed up with my ST Maxxs. I do plan on trying out a different set for the next one. Seems like most the 1st person reviews on here for the Kenda are negative. I did get a few positive reports.

I think I’m leaning more towards the new fallen at4/ws.
