What size are the screws that hold in the airflow sensor? Mine aren't completely stripped out (yet), but I'd like to find a better replacement before the inevitable happens.

I'll add a little backstory. I recently installed the TRD intake, and while I was removing the existing sensor to reinstall into the new tube, the screws started giving me trouble. I'm sure this was mostly due to them cutting new threads into the plastic bosses. I was able to remove and install them into the new parts, but if I ever had to replace the sensor, replacing the fasteners would be a good idea. I'm looking for suggestions on a better replacement, since Phillips fasteners aren't the best, especially when made with subpar material.

Take one out and take it to any hardware or mom and pop shop. They should have one of those thread pitch size boards you can use

generally it's a bad idea to cut new threads in plastic bosses-- ideally you should be hand-starting the screws in the threads they already placed into the plastic parts. that helps a great deal with maintaining the integrity of plastic parts.

unfortunately, most plastic screws are somewhat specialty, and aren't easily available. wood or lag screws are the next-best thing, but once you have a need for them, you'll generally need to step up at least one size to allow the screws to cut their threads into the now-stripped bosses.

Just went through this a few months ago. Call your dealer they’ll get you the exact part number for the screw. If they give you grief if I can find my extra one I bought I’ll mail it to you lol

I found the part number after some digging, 90167-A0016. I plan to go to the hardware store to find something similar with a hex head.
