I made it 2 1/2 miles on the treadmill. The nurse had the incline set to max after a couple of minutes. And she had me answer a bunch of f'n questions through the whole ordeal. I'm a bicycle rider, well...I was in a previous life. I don't run. Only reason I stopped was I could feel my hamstring taking at shit. I have no idea how long it took. Had to be more than 10 mins. There's no way I can run that fast, ever. In high school we had to do a timed mile. I was a consistent 6:04. Did it 3 times.

So, I've been chatting with Jason this evening about driveshafts. It appears that Toyota changed the carrier bearing on the 3rd gens from 30 to 32mm. Nobody but Toyota sells a 32mm carrier bearing. Others claim their bearing fits. Toyota wants $212, others are anywhere from $55 to $130. I can buy a used driveshaft with 10k on it for $270. Why the hell would I rebuild at that price?

 

Or go to a single pc shaft and never think about the CB again?

 

Curious to see who still makes those for tacos. Tom Woods stopped years ago

Adams driveshaft will custom make one. But @OldSchlPunk has a long bed and a one piece doesn't work so well on that. Because the longer length at a diameter that fits lowers the critical speed.

 

Every time I cross, I stop at that little administration center. If you get lucky they might have some pieces of the grate bridge for sale here and there

Access cab long bed has the same wheelbase as the double cab short bed. It is the same driveshaft.
