    Older drivers who "struggle" shouldn't be driving at all. They're the same ones who go the wrong way on the freeway and kill people. They're the same ones who step on the gas instead of the brake and run people over on the sidewalk, or launch themselves through the front of Walgreen's. And it's their fault for continuing to drive because they're selfish assholes, and because they raised selfish asshole kids (if they have kids) who don't have the balls to do the right thing and take the keys away.

    Fully agreed, except some don't have kids around to monitor them.

    I mean, we "let" my grandfather drive us places now and then as he was getting older but never had to take his car. He drove until 93 (not often or far mind you) and just decided to give up driving when my grandma died.
