Too many but also not enough mods
Finally placed an order for HC rear with the love handles added but no swingouts

Where are people mounting the camera relocate bracket? I can’t find a flush area on the swing outs for it to fit properly since the camera protrudes past the bracket.

Just got my high clearance bumper back from powder coating. It was cool seeing the raw steel and all the welding/grinding that went into fabricating it, top notch work.

I used a scale at work and was able to weigh the bumper. Surprised to find it is only 155 pounds, which is lighter than the ~175-200 mentioned on the website.

I would love to order one if you’re still making them! I’m also not too far from you, so I could pick it up if that’s easier!

just to be sure, will it work with the 3rd gen?

He makes a bracket relocate that should come with your bumper if you just ordered it. I’m just confused on where it goes…see my post up above.

Have you called him to ask? They’ve always been super helpful the few times I’ve spoke to them on the phone

Installed my bumper last weekend, very happy with how good the rear end looks.
For the rear lights I used the new C1R pods from @Diode Dynamics which utilizes the trailer harness to get running light, brake light & reverse light signals. The pods go bright red when you press the brake, and bright white in reverse.
I was able to install this by myself, it was dumb but doable. I measured 18" down with a square ruler (had to much variance using a tape measure). Instructions are for 17.75", however I wanted to avoid having too large of a panel gap so I cut less than instructed and planned to slowly shave away with a flap disc. I installed & removed the bumper several times before getting the cut just right.

Excellent writeup and your install looks great! I wish the guys who installed mine took the same care to avoid a large gap in my bedsides. Nice job.

These are by far the best looking rear HC bumpers on the market, IMO. Such clean lines.

I just bolted a piece of extra powdercoated angled steel I had from another product onto the bumper and made it work.

I have a Super Pacific on order now though and a brake/chase light combo that also has a backup camera mount.

I couldn't determine bike rack fitment prior to buying this bumper, figured an extension may be needed. Posting this so others can see clearance with the 1up rack.

Bike pedal will hit the tailgate without an extension. I decided to skip the extension and instead remove one pedal whenever I carry 2+ bikes.

Bike rack can fold up vertically without an extension, it's close but does not hit the tailgate.

I like that this bumper's tow hitch is reinforced with square tube steel. No worries carrying 3 e-bikes.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I like it tucked up tight like that. good choice on the no extension route.

Looks like your pedals clears the tailgate in that first picture. What am I missing?

If you ran the bike in the second tray, can you lower the tailgate without hitting the rack? My guess is no as hitch is now much higher that stock.

Pedal doesn’t touch when stationary, but while driving the bike can sway enough to contact the tail gate.

Not able to open the tail gate with this rack on, even with the tray in the lowest angled position.

That’s makes sense. Much as I love my 1up I find myself just running the bike on the tailgate more often these days.
