I went away from my Thorogood work boots only because they've lasted so long, I have a brand new pair in the closet that work paid for, and my next yearly allotment was due but I just grabbed these Keen boots and you're right, they are pretty large. I bought them thinking I would hunt in them, and I have. I'm happy with the comfort and support of them in uneven terrain, however, Thorogood still reigns supreme in the workplace setting in my eyes.

Got to the range this morning. Rain started about 5 minutes later Rained off and on most of the morning. We shot anyway, until the targets started sliding off the backers Went to lunch, came home and took a nap. All in all it was a pretty good day.

 

Yeah sure, just let me put that 100 gallons on gas on yer credit card.
Also...why does it need to fit someone?

I got massive speed in these old and rickety nimble legs, I'll be there before you get my steak cooked.

At age 12 I had one of these.

 

Well, we have our plans.

I had an appointment downtown this morning, got back home, changed my clothes and ate lunch preparing to go out and mow.

And then...



Deciding to be productive (as opposed to taking a nap) I did some cooking ahead so Mrs Green has lunch for a few days.

The sun came out - rain stopped.

Fired up the old New Holland and made it around the house once -
(it ain't a big house either)
and...







crap...

 

Meanwhile it's turned drier than a popcorn fart around here along the PA/MD border

 

It was oppressively hot yesterday (had the AC on in the garage) and again this morning - humid and 86, when it rained it dropped to about 62 - still humid.

 

It rained here yesteday, was foggy and moist ths morning.


But I kept myself busy until the grass dried and got er mowed.

 

That is seriously cool, nice find!

 

It's been raining for the last 5 days or so. Looks like it's supposed to rain on Thursday then dry up for a bit. I better get out there and mow. I'm sure with all the rain then the sun coming out the grass is going to go nuts.
